Yellow or red? From the check-engine light to ABS, which warning means stop and which means visit a workshop.
The lights on the dashboard speak in a colour code. Green and blue inform; yellow says “attend to it soon”; red means “stop now”.
If the check-engine light (yellow engine symbol) stays on, the car can usually be driven but should get electronic diagnostics as soon as possible; if it flashes, the engine may be taking damage and you should stop. The ABS light doesn’t mean your braking is gone — it means the anti-lock system is disabled; you can still brake, but be careful.
When a red oil-pressure or temperature light comes on, the best move is to stop somewhere safe and switch off the engine. These warnings herald expensive engine damage. Once the source of the fault is clear, we quickly supply the part you need — sensor, water pump, thermostat, battery, whatever it is — with genuine or OEM options.
